Hacking Concerning HG/SS saves...

Since my post was ignored in Kazo's thread, I'll post a thread about it instead...

I'm using AK2i + AKAIO 1.5 and I just discovered something. The save file of my SoulSilver ROM patched with Rudolph works with the unpatched ROM. Originally, I started playing with Raqib's patch V3.5 with Rudolph's freeze fix. Since he quit, I then switched to Kazo's patch V5 with Rudolph's fix as well. Days later, I updated my AKAIO 1.4 to 1.5 and the game still works. I then tried my Rudolph fix save file with an unpatched untrimmed ROM and it works.

Anyone tried this?

I havent tried but i presume this is because rudolph has fixed the problem

so that the game id stays the same.
