No. If showing 0%, you have bq24193 problem.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

If you change that value in Hekate, all that will happen is that it will indicate 100% if the battery is at 3900mV for example. Then you will get 101%, 103% charge etc...

It is the bq24193 at fault I`m guessing.
Ok thanks - I will check bq24193 in the morning and report back. Thanks for your help so far, much appreciated.

Checked m92t36 just to make sure, I get 3.3v output while charging on pin 5 so that chip seems to pass.

Which pins am I needing to check on BQ24193?

The m92t36 should be ok as it boots(sort of).

There is a testpoint just above bq24193. What readings are you getting plugged and unplugged USB? Also... Check the 6 left-most 3 pins on bq24193(7 - 12 IIRC). They are tied together in pairs(you will only see 3 traces coming from the 6 pins).

Plugged and unplugged voltage.

If you have managed to restore fuel-gauge info(it MUST be done with a fully charged battery) and you are still on 0% (IMPORTANT: Showing 0mV) then almost certainly, the BQ24193 is toast.

did you fix this? i have a similar switch, but this one was water damaged. only tiny bit of corrosion around bq max ic.

I replaced m92, bq and fuel gauge.
still 0.43 boots to Nintendo logo, and turns off.
tried a different battery.
charging icon comes on but goes off.

thinking a LCD driver chip( just because it switches itself off whe the screen lights up) or the chip below the tegra. thoughts?
