or menuhax (menuhax opens hbl throug sysnand)
Well it's all set up now thanks a bunch holy crap lol. Are you on a9lh and if you are how stable is running that? I just don't want to run into issues with luma3ds again since I have to boot through luma every single time i'd want to play.

you did a9lh?

No I finished part 3 as you said but i'm asking if you've already done a9lh. I'm just skeptical of having to go through luma3ds everytime I use the device after all the trouble I had with it earlier. So is a9lh worth it? Reading through the guide I prolly wouldn't start it tonight but if it's reliable and as easy as just booting the device normally i'm game for it. I've made it this far might as well make it convenient and hassle free for the future.

The actual proble is not luma3ds but accesing emunand through hbl (not very reliable). Ive done a9lh and its very worth because the bootrate is 100% and there is no need to have emunand once you finish the process. Just do EVERYTHING the guide says to avoid bricking and if you dont understand omething dont be afraid to aask

Okay so I FINALLY got luma3ds to work after I installed the 5.2 version. I'm a lil confused on this next step below. Rebooting into sysnand means just letting the system boot up normally right? So then to access hbl I just go to the website again like I did before?
  1. Reboot into SysNAND and get into the Homebrew Launcher through the entrypoint of your choice (menuhax will always launch the Homebrew Launcher from SysNAND)
Menuhax is much more stable than browserhax. You should only use browserhax to install menuhax.

Hmm I see, well I guess i'll be doing it then. I'll start tommorow though since this seems like a long process and i'd like to get it all done in one go to reduce mistakes. One question I do have is the data back up thing. How does that work? Guide says i'll need to back up any save data I want to keep so what program do I need and how does that work? Not just making the backup but getting it back on my system once i'm done as well.

a whole nand (sys or emu), use decrypt9 with the sysnand backup and emunand backup (also sd files backup)
