Community features on next Nintendo console

Let's be real, we're most likely never getting a successor to Miiverse nor a messaging system like Wii U's friend request messages, but do you think that certain games on the next console will include posting of text/drawings like in Splatoon 2/3 or Mario Maker 2?

This is probably why it will never happen again on a Nintendo console. Unless they get an AI moderator that really works well.

As much as I liked Miiverse, there was a lot of vile crap that was in it. As linuxares stated, moderation was a problem, and it's a lot easier for Nintendo to just go minimal unfortunately. As much as I would love it have them, I doubt Nintendo is interested in even trying. I mean look at how bland and dead the Switch UI is now.

Honestly I wouldn't even be surprised if Nintendo was to scrap all GUI and have only a minimal command line interface that launches games.

Watch them go back to the Gameboy/GBA days with direct load. "Well, you can't mod a console if there's no homescreen!" or some BS like that. Then they freak out when someone makes a flash cart.
