First one = American
Second one = British

So obviously, Color will win this.

Second one is always used in many parts of Canada.

And so far you have been proven wrong as its tied at 4:4 and I except it to keep a rather 1:1 ratio.

You know what? I'm actually not so sure which one I usually use.

Color, because
1) that's how it's spelled (here)
2) that's how it's pronounced.

Cuh - LOR
not
Coh - loh - UHR

I'd say the first one would be pronounced phonetically as COL-OR, closer to collar.

on a serious note, thats how mrs. teacher taught me in elementary school, and it seems more natural to someone who lives in the USA

the other way isnt wrong, but mrs. teacher probably would have counted "colour" wrong on a spelling test.

Well colour doesn't rhyme with velour either, so it is spelled colour! Although obviously your nationality will probably determine which you think is right.

Well i live in canada so i use colour. But it doesnt really matter since people would understand both ways.
