kick ass. this version fixes some of the graphical glitches I've been having. The screen shot sums up all the action you find in a coleco (I'm not kidding). pewpewpew.

Very nice. The DS is the perfect system to emulate the Colecovision since the screen resolutions are the same and the touchscreen allows you to have a keypad, so it's always nice to see ColecoDS get better and better.

What I'd really love to see is a hack that allowed Coleco games to have smooth scrolling. I really don't even know if that's possible, but it would be so damn cool.

I also hope this release foreshadows a new release of DSMasterPlus, which could be another superb emu on the DS, but currently has a lot of problems holding it back.

There was some nice games for the thing though I fail to remember the names, was always more of a C64/Spectrum/MSX/Amstrad fella.

Awesome emulator! Very nice.

Centipede has several graphical problems rendering it unplayable.

Does anyone know if ColecoDS has trackball/rollerball support? Slither is a trackball game (similar to Centipede).

Thanks

This looks pretty sweet. Does anyone know what the game in the screenshot is called? It looks similar to a game I had (but I can't remember what it was called).

It could be Buck Rogers: Planet of Zoom.

I think it's Buck Rogers and the Planet Of Zoom.

On another note, the ColecoVision was well ahead of it's time. Loads of expansion kits and accessories, and the CPU power kicked everyone elses ass at the time! Shame Coleco screwed up with the Adam.

Yeah I had this game on my old Apple //e so it looked familiar.

I'm going to have to give this emu a whirl. My mother-in-law was a huge Ladybug junkie. I made many customized Mame CDs for her to play it on her PC. Maybe if I win thebobevil's DS I can give it to her to put in her purse so she can't lose it.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
