Tried it. Worked flawlessly on first try. Thanks a lot! It's a pity it has to reload the CFW twice, but I'm sure that will be fixed later on. For the time being, this is exactly what I wanted to achieve.

can you replace the default fw.img?
 
yes it can be accessed through ftp and i recommend using ftpiiu_everywhere instead of ftpiiu
 
Im just about to go through the steps now.

I have one slight issue though, I already have rednand setup, I have compiled your isouhax which works fine but it boots me into rednand.

What do I need to do so the isouhax boots on my sysnand.

Did you compile it with
make cfw-coldboot
?
 
I have one last question, after using this how can i boot rednand, i tried holding b while booting my haxchi homebrew channel but it boots back into sysnand.
 
Before changing the system.xml file, you can test everything without risks. Just try running your haxchi game and see if it works.
