Hacking Code dump mplayerwii with sdhc card

Is there anybody who can explain and have a solution to the code dumps i'm having when i try to play a 2,2Gb mkv file from my 4Gb sdhc card while the file itself plays perfectly on my pc and the sd card can be read by mplayer?
