So, if I understand, you need PowerSave? Can't you copy the files on your SD to yo' PC, do the trick and reïnstall the files on the SD?

I know. There was a guy on YT who tried too and failed. I can't trade my Sheer Force Totodile's too, but when I'm using infrared it's possible

Is it worth buying powersave? I read a lot of negative feedback and that powersave won't work with pokemon x (?)

It will work. I works fine on my X. Those that experience that just swaps the cable to one that they have laying around and problem fixed. I guess cheap link connectors.
