I'm using a classic controller (not pro) to play SNES9XGX but I'm getting some issues. Specifically one thing I've noticed is that when I hold down b, it gets transmitted to SNES9XGX as a series of b button presses. For example, here's what happens in Yoshi's Island when I hold down B and Yoshi should hover:

Anyone seen this behavior before? Any idea what I can do?

Try going to classic controller settings and resetting it

Maybe it needs to be recalibrated.
Or the battery of the wiimote is low.

All i can say is that i use the red one and that it is supported by the emulator.

What kind of Wii Remote are you using? Third-party Wiimotes tend to not play well with Homebrew. For example when using my Nyko Wand my Classic Controller doesn't work at all in Homebrew, switching to an official Nintendo Wiimote fixed this.
