Use wired PS4 controller on SNES9GX and emulators in general

I have Fakemote installed, however i realized that i can only use it on USB Loaded games configured to load in the specific cIOS slot i've installed (252 in my case). i've seen some other threads but i haven't got a very clear idea of what i have to do, neither can be sure if their cases are the same as mine. Is there a way to make Snes9xGX work with a PS4 Controller?

If you make a custom forwarder with a tool like CustomizeMii, you can change the IOS used.

I'll investigate about that! i also tried installing a channel and loading it on USB Loader GX but it took me to the Wii Menu, sadly. i'll be back! Thank you SO much

So, i've downloaded a forwarder and opened it with CustomizeMii. on the options tab i see that i can change the IOS to the one Fakemote uses. Shall i just click "create wad" and that's it?

Yes, you shouldn't need to change anything else.

Sadly, it didn't work =(. i've tried making making wads. one running with IOS 57 and the other with 252, neither of them worked. im pretty sure i installed Fakemote on base 57 and cIOS 252, but i'll see to reinstall it just in case

how do you even change IOS to 252? As far as I understand in CustomizeMii you can only change the base (i.e. 57,58,35 etc) but not cIOS.
