There was some mayor devs that decided not to port or develop to for the PSP because it didn't gave profits. This is well documented, just Google a bit.
Killing may be a hyperbole, but it did reduce the potential library of the system.

Explain me then PS2 vs PS3 situation or DS.
look at the PS vita, its not hacked and its dead in the water lol.

Yeah and PS3/360 was at hypest part of console life (when mobile yet didn't hit) and still didn't sell much more games than PS2. DS/Wii was broken from almost start and no one complained.

PSP died simply because there wasn't anymore any puch from big developers to get big games on it. Everyone moved to home consoles. And there wans't indie scene to keep it alive like vita ("life" is here kind of overstatement)
Even now on 3DS you don't see much support aside from nintendo and few minor developers. And ofcourse 3DS is broken (sky3ds, gateaway) for almost all its life and some developers don't mind setting records for their franchizes...

lol if anything the DS killed the PSP through cost and amount of titles it had fired out i remember heaing at one point DS was so popular in japan it was almost 2 consoles per person

Also the amount of DS flashcarts that sold really easily compared to having to have a specific firmware or model psp and be savvy at the time.

eh. forgot totally about it. Guess this will be one way downgrade because i don't think we will be able to go back to 10.1 anytime soon
You could always just use sysupdater to update back to 10.1 couldn't you?

Assuming this works on 9.2 as well, you could run the downgrader again with a 10.1 .cia.

Well, most users don't have hardmods unfortunately, myself included. I'd rather there be extensive testing when arm11kernel is ready before I try.

Jeez man, what crawled down your pants? I asked so i wouldn't have to read the last 15 pages. Thanks for the help.

If more people would read last 10-15 pages then you wouldn't need to read 10-15 pages but 3 instead.
If something will happen then it will be announced probaly via other thread not here.
