Even tho I seem to have the steps, it feels complicated, but I learn more by viewing stuff, so hoping there will a "guide for noobs" Anyway thanks

nobody has a way to downgrade yet, but there's already a few tutorials on setting up things like rxTools, which you can do once you downgrade to 9.2.

If I'm right, you can run memchunkhax2, then run FBI, and install your legit CIA.

yes, that's how it usually goes I think. usually just once.

so when this is released ..We downgrade to 9.2 (I assume this is the themable one ?) but the link that is noob friendly is for N3DS @.@ oh lord I hope when this is all said and done that there is one thread with everything perfectly laid out .....this is harder and more confusing then mailbombing back when I owned the first Wii @.@

you could also choose to keep everything on your emunand and format your sysnand instead

Ok hoping this is my last comment on that and sorry for being noob

(of course these are all steps when stuff is released)

1) Downgrade Sysnand from 10.3 to 9.2
2) Install the exploit for emunand
3) Boot on Emunand and install the CIA games I need and update the Emunand FW if needed to keep playing games that requires higher FW either to play or to access online features

in resume that would be something like that?

1. Downgrade to 9.0 - 9.2
2. Launch gw create sysnand back up.
3. Format emunand.
4. Launch hbl with one of many exploits.
5. Install homemenuhax.
6. Install rxtools.
7. Install fbi/title manager/devmenu
8. Update emunand
9. Install cias

So if I'm not mistaken, after downgrading I can play 3DS roms with the only physical requirement being an SD card? And are these any roms or only the ones that have been released preinstalled? If it matters I have an O3DS.

you can play any physical or eshop game for free besides binding of isaac rebirth and xenoblade chronicles

You can't directly plug and play .3ds files, it's a bit more complicated than that, you can patch signatures with a CFW (like cakes, pasta, reiNAND etc.) And install ANY CIA directly to your home menu

Roms need to be converted to cia format in order to be installed. There are some simple tools out there to do this.

Thanks for the quick and helpful responses. I assume I can't play Binding of Issac because it's N3DS exclusive. To be honest I know nothing about that game besides its name.

Its a really great game and i totally recommend you get it and the original flash version on pc

Oh okay. So if I have either of those CFW installed then I can play a game I get online, like for example Hyrule Warriors Legends? I could have that on my home menu?
