Homebrew Clarification Thread - What is going on?

Especially if on rooted Android, gotta watch for the bootloops. (Which would only happen if you messed with something then rebooted...)

I'm on an European O3DS XL with 9.4 and I don't have the most recent browser update.
When the homebrew channel was released and some time after, I tried using it multiple times using tubehax, but could never do it, and I don't have Ironfall.
So, my doubt is, do you know if this ARM11 exploit will run through the browser and/or homebrew channel? Because if it is, then I guess I'll have to find a game that updates me to less than 10.3.

I'm also not sure, but I guess everyone is using the testing tool (BOOM) using the homebrew channel, correct?

You need the HBL to run it. Install menuhax until you can.

you can run this from browserhax or menuhax, also the exploit works on 10.3

I would try it with menuhax (I was using IronHax) but the panic doesnt allow to do it.

Thanks, didn't try those 2 yet, since my internet source is too far away for my 3DS, but I'll give it a shot when I can.

Also, (hope I'm not bothering you) do you know if is it a problem having a message for updating the firmware showing up everytime I go to the menu?
I think I read somewhere before that this means the update has been downloaded already, and that it can be deleted from the SD card somehow.
