Have you tried latest official Canary builds? Are you having problems with those? What are your PC specs?

I've tried some of them, and sometimes I have some "random slowdowns" which my FPS stays at 30 but the game becomes choppy like if my FPS was like 9 or something.
The build I had some best results was build 205 by Valentin, I still gets these slowdowns(and btw I tested multiple settings in them) but the monsters roars doesn't slowdown the game anymore, maybe 1 or 2 max FPS drops in roars and no graphical glitches at all.

My specs are:
i5-3330
GTX 1060 OC 6gb GIGABYTE
8GB RAM DDR3 1333mhz
Windows 10 64-bit

Say, @valentinvanelslande, are the texture dumping and loading options a WIP or they're supposed to be usable?
I messed around with it a little bit, but inside "qt-config.ini" it looks like the tex_dump_dir and tex_load_dir entries get screwed after you run a game on Citra.

Basically, I've set them to C:\ORAS_textures\dump and C:\ORAS_textures\load respectively.
After that, I saved the file and opened Pokémon Omega Ruby on Citra and played a little bit, in order to let the emulator dump some textures.
Then I closed the emulator and I checked qt-config.ini again just in case.
So, what happened? The paths were changed to "C:RAS_texturesump" and "C:RAS_texturesoad", for some reason.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and the "dump" folder was naturally empty.

I am trying to download this but it is in chinese. Also the english build is from march while this is from april. Help me please
Click the version you want to download, and in the page that you're taken to just click the button I pointed to in the attached picture.
Since those builds are clearly outdated, I wouldn't suggest you to use them though.

It does come at a cost however. The hack prevents slowdowns during flashbombs, roars and fpsreaperastalos. If your comp is strong enough to deal with those you have nothing to worry.

I don't keep track of intel cpu performance with citra as I'm an amd user in that regard, but is easy to test. Go whack an astalos an you will know immediately if the performance is stable or not.

The hack doesn't seem to work on his latest build. I see no performance difference with it on or off. The prior build showed similar issues like sicks' build, although far less severe.
