tutorials please.what address and what values should i use.

I can't remember exactly, wrote it down somewhere. Save 2 files in the bus, one male one female with exactly the same name. Edit then in PKHex to have identical IDs and SIDs, etc. Then compare with HeX. Every difference from 1200 to 14030 is relevant.

okay. that way, the difference will only be for the gender, and can be applied on any other ORAS save file

But it's weird because the CEMU emulator is working more smoother than Citra ... even though it's a Wii U emulator... I hope citra can run Pokemon ORAS soon ! :p

Yup. Thing is gender per say is determined by 14000 x 05, but for some reason if you don't change the rest starting from 1200, the save file won't load on Citra.

Because Citra doesn't have a recompiler like Cemu. Citras interpreter is actually faster than Cemu's however it will run faster when the recompiler is complete. Work has been done by Merrymage and now that audio is near complete, the JIT CPU (Recompiler) may soon be at a usable state making every game run full speed likely. Merrymage noted in the PR of the JIT to later merge pieces of it when done, similar to how geometry shaders is being implemented with some small PRs at a time. I don't know how long it could take in the state of it being ready to merge but is likely to get more progress with audio out of the way.

Might be caused from the filtering hack. Does it happen without the hack?
Release_unofficial_v3 = 46dcab2
Release_unofficial-filtering_v3 = 05552892

maybe try filtering on 46dcab2

also when i hex edit the exe to force filtering it does not happen(but the outlines remain)

05552892 is filtering applied to 46dcab2. After I merged for 46dcab2, I edited glad.h and compiled it to get 05552892.

oh i thought that was what master build it was based on.
I've noticed with texture filtering hack, the screen briefly flashes black whenever a Pokemon is released from the pokeball and when a wild Pokemon is encountered. If I get a lot of free time I might experiment with the values.

Don't know how useful this is, but you can achieve the exact Rustboro city error by randomly Hex editing your save file. Anyone know what this means?

yeah, some games use a config file for saves, which mario kart 7 requires, and some need the shared font file, and a few needs mii data. I can upload mine right quick.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Here, just paste in main citra folder.
Thanks! I will try to downgrade my 3DS and dump my NAND soon.
