Thanks. And BTW their name is arm9 payloads (even though some of them have arm11 code).

Curious if Monster Hunter XX is working well enough on it with the recent updates to canary. Months ago I recall seeing Generations playing very well, so I was curious..

    Depends on your PC specs.
Also, check here for game compatibility.

I wonder if that'll be the workaround to most of AMD's GPUs not working when Shader Emulation is set to GPU.
It'd be kinda sad if it is, because I think that most of the older Intel's GPUs don't support Vulkan, so we would basically be screwed :/ ...

Just use a different render backend (OGL in your case). Vulkan is THE engine for efficiency, in my opinion, especially on AMD cards

That's not what I meant. I didn't say that they would make Vulkan the only renderer available. I was just wondering if they were planning to make it an absolute solution to most of AMD's GPU's issues with the glvtx update.

In other words, I was wondering if maybe they would use the Vulkan Renderer as an alternative to actually fixing the issues with the OGL Renderer.

Ah, I see. After reading the update blog, though, it seems like the issue is mostly in AMD's OGL driver implementation, which means it can't really be fixed without major performance penalties

I know this has already been answered multiple times but I don't have the courage to search in all the 355 pages so : Does Citra run new 3DS exclusive games ?
    Thanks :D

I am pretty sure citra supports new3ds. you may have to set is_new_3ds=true in the config file.

Canary 443 and hardware shaders compilation started working on my old HD 5870
Metroid SR: 24-28 FPS with occasional dips to 20 and it's a mild faster. Almost playable
SM3DL: somewhere it's literary double the performance (23 against 46) but not everywhere.

    Upd:
Pokemon Ultra Moon: more than 200% increased performance! 16-19 on CPU and 36 - 45 when GPU do the job! Just wow...

Some games still don't work with this option though (FE:A)

    @Miguel Gomez

Is there any real benefit to adding the start menu? As far as I can tell, everything is still broke. I can't go through settings because it wants me to adjust 3d. I can't load streetpass. I cant go to Camera or AR Facefinder, etc. I have Mii maker loading and it works for games like Pokemon Rumble, but Super Mario 3d still refuses to say there is a save game (even though there is)..

Please let me know if any of these things should work, and what the benefit of having them is.

    Thanks

You need to dump Config Savegame. That's where the data are.

Also, some games that uses the Mii data from Mii Maker might gonna crash or freeze Citra. So if you want to play Mario 3D Land, you have to either play as the temp Mii or transfer your save from the 3DS and play it.

Is the Hardware Renderer update merged into the nightly builds yet?

Say, is anyone else experiencing this weird bug on the latest Canary?
No matter how many times I click them, the File and Emulation menus don't work. In order to access them, I have to click on View, Multiplayer or Help and then move the cursor to File or Emulation.
