By "bisect" I mean try old builds to see from when the game can't boot any more. Also did you check the region/language settings?
Oh okay.
Fire Emblem is USA.
The game is working fine in the last nightly build
That's strange. For me, it doesn't work. Both the Nightly and the unofficial.

I don't see where this would slow it down in the slightest.

3D means you have to render twice, once for the left eye, once for the right eye. Obviously this comes at a cost.
In games you also have to do culling twice and some effects must be done entirely differently because they are not true 3D (think of typical cartoon effects which don't blend with the 3D scene but are 2D overlays - for 3D you have to find a way to make these volumetric so they don't feel out of place)

Can I use cheat engine to edit in game value?

Yes, of course you can. But you have to locate the emulated 3DS memory which might be at different addresses on updates (or even per run?)

I see thank you, I suppose also the power of a PC maybe help on depending on ones hardware specs, but thanks for your explanation into how it works.

Where can I put decrypted files of 'Home Menu' and 'Mii Maker' in Citra folder ? Confusion.

This content is copyrighted by Nintendo and therefore is not distributed by Citra.

In order to get these you must dump the nand from a 3ds you OWN, extract and decrypt the title.

1) Dump, extract, and decrypt tutorial: https://github.com/citra-emu/citra/wiki/Home-Folder

2) A list of title ids, you need to lookup home menu: https://www.3dbrew.org/wiki/Title_list

Also note, even if you get these extracted, there is no guarantee they will even boot. The only proof I've seen of a home menu booting was dumped from 4.x firmware.

Umm... I said that it is already decrypted and I just want to know where to put them in Citra ? Citra developer said it works and thats why I want to test it.

Sorry I misread find. Then you should have CXI files? You can put those anywhere. Then choose file open in Citra and select those files

Unfortunately, its Home Menu (Europe).ncch and Mii Maker (Europe).ncch.

Yes, Citra developer said it works. Citra cannot find ncch file so that mean I have to put them into Citra directory like this one: https://citra-emu.org/wiki/home-folder

I just don't know which one should I put them in home folder.

The only problem is how do you get to the home menu if you can't boot it? Unless Citra opens the file, I don't believe the "home" button will take you there but I may be wrong.

I think Mii maker will probably go under ./nand/0000000.../title/00040010/00022700/content

You can use this as a lookup for the others: https://www.3dbrew.org/wiki/Title_list

I was told and I did set Citra to load files from that folder (File > Select Game Directory)
Then it showed in the game list. Home Menu is broken and Mii Maker works. Thanks.
