You need to sync the controller on the Wii menu using the sync buttons.

lol, I tried that obviously. Didn't work. It's completely synced up until that point.

I had exactly the same problem.

Install it with IOS36, not with IOS249.
Worked well for me.

Nope, no memory card in slot b.

I can't even get to the spot to install IOS36, it "freezes" / "disconnects" before I can choose. I get to the menu, but that's it.

I have been installing cios versions on ios38 base. i did the same for this one but i see folks saying ios57 is default & better. can i re-install it at ios57 as well and how does it differ from ios38 install?

i installed cIOS38rev19 and can confirm it works perfectly with Wad Manager Lan edition, its based on 1.5 and works great. The only thing missing here is Triiforce support.

Some say its working, but it is not for me. Everything was 100% functional on 17 (still is if i go back) but 19 does not like my fat32 partition at all. It's like it doesn't see the full partition. Tested Triiforce MRC v9, and Triiforce beta7 (beta 7 never like my USB drive either so I'm not surprised it didn't work.) And all of my forwarding iso's are a no go as well. Tried GX and CFG loaders.

anyone can explain to me what does the base IOS mean ? what are the differences between base 38 and 57 ? why 38, 57 ? also, I only followed the xzxero guide in which he provided us only the wad files, not the installer, so I don't know which base is it ? and the also wanin cios are also called 249, 250 . I'm really confused here !

What wanin do its not create new IOS, he get some original from Nintendo and apply patch over it, giving new functions.

So, for do this you can use different bases with different original functions and apply it to a free slot (in this case 249)

Yeah so what i did in the guide was take that newly created IOS [249 and 250] that was made by the base IOS + the cIOS installer and put it into a wad so you didnt have to run the installer.

Sadly I got a D3-2 drive Wii, I can only use Hermes cIOS to load games from USB.

Hmm weird Error.

I had Rev 17 Installed, then went to 18, back to 17 cause of 18 had some problems for me, now i try and install Rev 19 with IOS 249 And Base as 57 and it comes back as a Ret=-1 Error, Never had that before.. So whats the problem?


Edit- Eh, i reinstalled 18 then went to 19 and it worked. Weird anyways works

Guys which ios is used for usb loading? My hard drive won't working with original 1.5 usb loader, but works with loader gx.
