If I have yet to upgrade to 4.2, should I upgrade first then install cIOSCORP 3.5, or will installing cIOSCORP 3.5 essentially upgrade me to 4.2? Thanks in advance
I don't think it comes with the SM4.2 but after installing this... really the only thing left to do to upgrade is grab 0000000100000002 v480(j), v481(u), v482(p), or v486(k) with NUS and you'd be on SM4.2. Well... that and perhaps the latest WiiSCU .24 to get the latest Wii shop and such if you so desire.

Since I updated my fully working softmodded wii to 4.2 I've had issues.
Alot of games results in error 002 when launched from USB, and nothing can be launched from SD Menu (Be it legally downloaded games or homebrew).

I finally found a way to properly update from Nintendo, then installed latest cISOCORP. This fixed the problems with SD Menu, however I still have problems with installed games from USB.
Many games that worked perfectly before the update are now none-functional..
Games like Job Island, EA Sports Interactive and Wii Fit.
In other words, all the games I use on a regular basis now has to be started from discs again.

Is there a way to fix this, which I might possibly have missed?

USBloaders run off wanin's cios249, or hermes 222, 223 etc. These IOS are not modified by cioscorp so I don't think it is causing your problems.

Try
- using a different (better?) usb loader
- updating your cios249 to rev14 if u haven't already
- install and use hermes cios instead with your usbloader.

ugh enable the 002 error fix on your USB loader.
The sd card menu didn't work because your system menu IOS wasn't trucha patched.
It is now though.

Thanks, I'm using the latest USB Loader GX and cios249 is already rev14
The installer I used did say hermes, but maybe it was mislabeled?

I should have thought a bit about that.. I've been gone from the wii scene for too long, I need to get reacquainted with all the different stuff released..
Thanks guys, I'll check to see which cios the USB loader is using, and hopefully I can get this show back on the road again

Question:

I see there is an issue playing some games (Wii Sports Resort/Metroid Trilogy) my question is that since this changes the Disc Channel, if I have retail sports resort will there still be an issue, or is it strictly burnt versions

Guitar Hero 5 (PAL) Not Working

OK I have the following:

- System Menu 4.2 (PAL)
- cIOSCORP 3.5
- Preloader v.30

Modified the Wii using this guide: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=171901

Tried on 3 different Wii's it just says it cant read the disc. Have tried downloading 2 different Guitar Hero 5's with no luck.

All other games working fine. Anyone know what the problem is?
