Hacking cIOSCORP v3.5 Release!

Question:

I see there is an issue playing some games (Wii Sports Resort/Metroid Trilogy) my question is that since this changes the Disc Channel, if I have retail sports resort will there still be an issue, or is it strictly burnt versions
It shouldn't affect original discs.

Other testers got it working fine.

Here's a few questions:
Have the isos you're using been modified at all?
How old is your wii's laser?
What brand of DVDRs are you using?
What is the exact error that the wii is displaying on screen?
Is the error message in the disc channel, or is it on a black screen?
Maybe try disabling all hacks in preloader (except for the the "Prevent HAXX, DVDX, RZDx Deletion" hack), and see what happens.
Maybe try using a different version of preloader (I'm still using 02.9 JODI patched).
Maybe try loading via Gecko OS.
What sounds does your DVD drive make?
Does it take forever to get to the error (tries multiple times to read the disc but eventually fails), or does it error out almost straight away (straight up refuses to read it)?
Does the disc gradually stop, or does the wii abruptly stop it?

Not as far as I know but have tried with an old modded wii with cIOSCORP 3.5 and a freshly modded virgin wii with cIOSCORP 3.5 Installed.

How old is your wii's laser?
First Wii about 9 months old and the virgin wii is a brand new drive.

What brand of DVDRs are you using?
The Brand is RiVision (Burnt at 4x) All other games work fine with these discs

What is the exact error that the wii is displaying on screen?
Just the standard Wii message saying "Unable to read disc"

Is the error message in the disc channel, or is it on a black screen?
The Error is in the Disc Channel

Maybe try disabling all hacks in preloader (except for the the "Prevent HAXX, DVDX, RZDx Deletion" hack), and see what happens.
Just tried and made no difference

Maybe try using a different version of preloader (I'm still using 02.9 JODI patched).
Tried 0.29 and 0.30

Maybe try loading via Gecko OS.
Wont be able to use this as its for young children. cIOSCORP was perfect for that (simple)

Yes, it should just get you the IOS's you need. But you can just install IOS30 over as long your not 3.2U and cIOScorp will be fine.

And never use cIOScorp v2, use 1.01 or 3.5

DoP-IOS old IOS30 and latest IOS61 without patches. That's all you need for hackmii to work.

IIRC this would give you a brick as your Wii is korean.

I had v3.4, and haven't had any problems, then installed 3.5 and now games give me #002 error.

iirc updating through System update won't install over cIOSCORP files because the version numbers are higher.

BUT... there's always the possibility of a future update ignoring version numbers on purpose (If I worlked for Nintendo that's what I'd do)

not sure if i said but i'm the first to confirm that DLC from RB2 and GH5 works with and also rawk SD works but you have to install this wad called CIOS37Bv2.wad with wad manager 1.5 for rawk SD to work.

and don't pm me for the wad cause it's vs the rules about sending wads... (i think...)
