Hi everyone I wonder if anyone can help me out, I trying to add the bugfix55 to my wii system, I heave searched everywhere but its a weird issue I got I wonder if anyone can solve this, problem is I installed the IOS53-64-5143 and IOS55-64-5143, I was following some guides and installed the 4633 version which as the time I though was the latest version. now I apply the bugfix55 and in the softchip99 it says IOS55 v 4633, so I installed the 5143 and apply the bug fix and in softchip is says 4633, but if I just inst the IOS softchip says its 5143.

I think I messed up somewhere the wii is still working fine, if there a bigfix55 for the IOS55 or are they all just 1 version? is it safe to remove IOS55 as I read on a few guides to say never uninstall IOS's, 1 other thing IOS36-64-3064 IOS38-64-3610 are they the same thing for the 249? and do I need the latest versions as I am unable to install IOS38-64-3610 come back with error ret-1 I put the wad in the root of my sd card and in the wad folder, but it seems to corrupt the wad manager 1.3

system specs updated to 4.0 using wanninkoko updater, preloader 0.29, rolled back hbc to an older version that works with 0.29

thats my problem and confusion if anyone can point out where I have gone wrong, thanks in advance

Update

I used WAD manager 1.5 and managed to install IOS36 and IOS38, but even in WAD manager 1.5 bugfix55 roles back IOS55 from 5149 to 4633, and yes I am trying to play MH3 but also to update them too but I dunno if I should uninstall IOS55 or just give up lol

Can't you just download the latest IOS55 using NUSD ?? Just check Pack -> Wad and install it.
You might also try pimp my wii.

cIOS55bugfix is a relic from the first cIOScorp. I don't imagine you would need it. Download the latest IOS55 with NUS Downloader like the above poster suggested.

thx for the replies guys:)

will look into NUS got it installed maybe it will work in wine, the only reason why I am trying to use ciosbugfix55 is for MH3 I watched the video but I get dvd read error, but it works through neogamma R6 or softchip R99 up until the memory check errror buzzing crap, I checked the sanity thing in HBC and most of the IOS are up to date well alot higher numbers than they were

An app exists for Android called Rekado which is a payload injector for the RCM exploit to work. Don't know if it's still active.

@imafsiry, What method? Phone or RCM Loader?
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
@imafsiry You just install Rekado to your phone and then plug your Switch into your phone when it's in RCM mode. Rekado should automatically pop up on your phone and ask which payload you want to send.

@imafsiry You can also set it to auto launch the payload of your choice so no user input is even necessary.

thats what i use also. works better if you launch hekate from rekado as you won't need to update the payload

  • TotalJustice @ TotalJustice:
as hekate launches the latest payload on the sd card (unless the sent payload is newer)
