Hello, I have recently installed the WiiGator Backup Launcher in the Homebrew channel of my Wii.

I read the compatibility list quite thoroughly, and I noticed that in order for: Sonic Rings [NTSC], to work, I need to download and apply the CIOS_FIX.WAD.

How do I do this? I have downloaded the file from the link provided on Rapidshare, what do I do from there?

I installed the cios fix then it will load sonic and the secret rings.
with out the cios fix you will just get stuck at the loading screen when it first starts

It the same as what WiiShizzza had said

make a folder called WAD on your SD card
put the CIOS_FIX.WAD file in that folder.
then used the wad manager or wad installer to install
the CIOS_FIX.WAD file to your wii
then your done
if your still having trouble i will make a file with with every thing u need to install it

good luck IT CAN BE DONE XD

I will ask though if this is your first time running a back up? if so u will have to use dvdx and patch iso249 after installing CIOS_FIX.WAD
or it won't read your back up disk

though it won't hurt to patch it again any ways.

Yes, I have ran one backup, No More Heroes [NTSC]. I have already set DVDC to ISO249, thanks.

Thank you both, WiiShizzza and mdlmemorybank
