What's the dual layer problem with cios r14? Works fine for me in Configurable USB loader.
Or is it only discs?

For rev15 i directly said EXACTLY what was to do to make it work. And that took DAYS until it was made. Now i don't know what's causing the problems. And my guess that it's the async ioctls, well that's something maybe 10 people can change.

You should go with Hermes cIOS 222 v4 and not cIOS 249

Anyway, I currently do not have the internet at the moment and i wish to use the off-line/wad installation to update the cIOS. How do i use it? As it mounts the SD card, then it looks for a wad and then brings up an error.

The cIOS rev16 installer uses IOS38 v3867.

Rev14 breaks Metroid Prime Triology and SSBB completely.
Rev15 breaks Sam & Max and FarCry completely
Rev16 breaks Metroid Prime Triology and SSBB completely AND the use of NeoGamma.

In return you get BCA stuff in rev16, but there's only New Super Mario Bros with it now, and there's a patch around that makes it playable with rev14 and rev15. When other games with BCA protection are released, we may talk about this again.

this happens to me when i use ios222 with cfg usb loader......

i might just go to rev15 if it would fix this

i use rev15 and it's the same. it doesn't crash but it keeps showing the same video
