Does a RomFS dumper exist in CIA form?
I want to dump some games for editing, but I'm using Luma3DS, and it's a pain in the arse to manage. Currently, I have to do all this to dump a game:
  1. Launch ftBrony.
  2. Rename boot.3dsx to luma.3dsx (so I know what it is).
  3. Rename bootmanager.3dsx (my boot manager) to boot.3dsx.
  4. Close ftBrony.
  5. Launch hblauncher_loader.
  6. Launch the Homebrew Launcher from inside the boot manager.
  7. Launch Braindump from the Homebrew Launcher.
  8. Dump my game.
  9. Return to the Homebrew Launcher.
  10. Launch 3dsx version of ftBrony from the Homebrew Launcher.
  11. Rename boot.3dsx to bootmanager.3dsx.
  12. Rename luma.3dsx to boot.3dsx.
  13. Reboot the console. (L + R + Down + B doesn't work; it gives me a yellow-screen error.)
It would make this process much simpler to have a dumper in CIA form. Does anyone know about one?

Back when I was using menuhax autoboot (have since switched to a9lh) I remember hex editing the menuhax payload so it pointed to a different 3dsx file (in my case rei.3dsx) and just had a normal hblauncher boot.3dsx to use with hblauchner-loader. You could try to find the guide I used, or just look at the menuhax payload in a hex editor, you should see a .3dsx filename you can change.

oh lol im pretty blind! but why use an ftp client? do you not own an micro sd adapter for your computer?
because it is NOT CONVENIENT to remove an entire n3ds back just to rename a file to dump romfs. ISN'T IT OBVIUS!?

I have a New 3DS, and it would be pretty frustrating to screw off the back every time. Also, I can't remove the microSD while in emuNand.

Ugh, I won't be able to send it today. (It's 10:24 PM) I have to go. I'll send it tomorrow.

On Ubuntu? I've never had that issue. Did you install from a package or a ppa?
Package, I think.
