Hacking cia game icons and freeshop disappeared from home menu, but can still launch game from fbi>titles?

if you have not loaded homebrew menu via rosalina and download play, follow this section https://3ds.hacks.guide/finalizing-setup#section-iii---homebrew-launcher

if you know how to get into homebrew menu via that, load that then load FBI via homebrew menu and try again

ok make sure you open "Download Play" completely
to the point where you can select between 3DS and DS, then press the L + Down + Select

Still black screen after re openned the download play menu

get the boot.3dsx from here, and place that over the old one on your SD card, then open Download Play again

Luma 9.1, fbi 2.5.2.. still error when installing, and no cia game icon appear in home menu. Sorry i am a newbie..
Is my problem not fixable?

first thing, dont even bother installing freeshop, it is now unusable

try install the cia version of FBI

ok, try this also, copy everything off the SD card again

format the SD card using https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/

using Overwrite Format

it will wipe the card fully, then copy the files back to it, and try to install FBI again

do you have another SD card you can test with?

just put your boot.firm and boot.3dsx on the SD card and follow https://3ds.hacks.guide/finalizing-setup

then try again

only have 2 gb micro sd, but i just tried it on pc and unreadable.. maybe i should take my 3ds to service store?

it's more likely something wrong with the SD card, rather than the 3ds itself, do you have any friends or family with a spare SD card to test with?

even try put the 2GB in your computer and use that SD formatter to see if it detects it as 2GB and format it

@Manusial95, try using Cthulhu to cache clear everything.
