I care. Chrono Trigger was one of my favorite RPGs of all time. I hope Square Enix redoes the graphics

If this sells well, and it's almost identical to the original, then that just proves to Square Enix that you can make a quick buck off of uninspired garbage. Throw in a few useless features and fans will think that their purchase is justified. Why not make a new 2D chrono game for the DS? Why not come up with original ideas? Because tools will throw money at them for a game that came out 13 years ago.![]()

It was fine as it was when it first came out, so why release it again? There are multiple ways for someone to play the original... buying the original cart (expensive), buying the ps1 remake (not expensive and accessible because you can play it on Ps1, Ps2, and Ps3), borrowing the original cart from a friend, or emulating if you do happen to pirate (which a lot of people do anyways).Grimalkin said:They attempted to my a direct sequel but the original team couldn't get together so they abandoned the project. It was coined "Chrono Brake(Break in US)" .
Personally, I really hope they don't completely remake(and make it all 3D chibi like the FF) this game, it was fine as it was when it first came out many people, like me, will feel like they bastardized it if they changed it in anyway.
'Why not come up with original ideas?'
Why not let people that weren't born in the SNES era play one of the best games during that time? Answer that question (sure they could always pirate, but not everyone steals games you know).
