Can I add cheats into the card from within the dsi? I hate having to pop the card out to get cheats in there

You can update the cheat files, not sure about adding a totally new cheat file though.

so I can update the existing cheat file from within the DSi? I can't find that option anywhere. Where do I do that?

If you're using AKAIO, it has a built in Wi-Fi update for the cheats database but it's very slow. I would just take the card out and copy over the latest database from your computer.

well I'm in an area without an Internet connection so I'm hoping I can google them from my phone and manually type them in.

There is no cheat editor within AKAIO. You have to copy the file over to your card manually. When you copied AKAIO to your card, it would have came with a cheat database. Highlight the game and press Y.

I did. Thsprcific game doesn't have a cheat button. It's "dragon quest - hand of the heavenly bride"

According to the Cheat database games list, that game is in the latest cheat file.

For some reason when I tried the internet update, it would give me an error. I did manage the update when I used a card reader.

please put wfplugin.ak4 in your _aio/plugin folder then try it. You can find the file in the wikis

You have to have a working Wifi connection with WEP or no encryption as well as ssid broadcast turned on. AKAIO won't find your AP if it's not broadcasting.

Manual update is simpler.
