Hacking cheat function doesn't work

I have 2 problems, The first is that there is no cheat button on my bottom screen I've got the 1,11 kernel english on the r4 and the CHEAT.1.dat. Do you guys now what's the problem. And Pokemon Diamond doesn't work?

As the above poster has mentioned, rename CHEAT.1.DAT to CHEAT.DAT and you're good to go

thats a bit vague, what happens when you start the game?
It could be a bad download?

The game when I start it there is just a white screen nothing happens I'm now trying a other download
