You're right.
I got it to work now, but I had to open the Inventory, then change area to make it change the weapon.
I changed area without opening the inventory and that made the pistol still appear, so it seems Inventory+Changing area works.

Good luck with the Merchant stuff!

You putting a character that's it's not recognize on the .txt it happends a lot if you download the cheat from maxcheats

Is this for manually searching for the codes or can I just put this in a txt file and use it as that? I've only ever used premade cheat files, so I'm not to sure what to do.

There will be a 1.02 patch for the game when it officially releases that will patch a bug in the game. It is futile to play it now and then when the patch comes you will have to start again as you won't be able to progress in the game

Bloodstained is very glitchy it crashes a lot. Their gonna patch it on release. I see no sense making cheats for it now. or even playing it now. Just my two cents.

But when it is patched I’d like a max luck stat cheat and inf MP.

You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)

I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted.
