Hey man, your advice really helped. The only issue I’m having now is how to make it stick for the entire party. For example, if I activate the code it’ll only work for that character, if I switch into another one in that game the cheats no longer work. So do you believe I’d find my answer in searching for each of the 3 characters pointers? And then compiling them all in 1 code. Or is there a much simpler solution I know nothing about.
So if you are using the point-searcher:
* do 1 character,
* get the memory dump for that character
* then close and reopen the game,
* choose a different character,
* then get the memory dump for that character(this is the second dump file),
* now Using the first file, find some pointers
* at this point, you should have some ptrs. Make sure the narrow checkbox is checked on the 2nd file and press narrow.
* Now the only pointers should be the ones that work for BOTH characters. And chances are when it works for 2 characters, it works for almost others characters as well.

Regarding this, it turns out that nothing related to player coordinates or movement is actually stored in RAM; it's all in registers, and the math is done via ASM directly, while taking some pointers from RAM only. As a result, making this specific code is impossible without decompiling the main file and documenting the whole thing, so instead I am requesting an "Always 99 points for player team" code, which SHOULD be far easier, although it is possible that the points are also stored in registers only, and I will research this personally. After that, I may or may not have created the code myself, depending on the difficulty.
Final update regarding this... This game heavily relies on code and uses as little volatile memory locations as possible; in other words, nothing valuable is stored in HEAP, everything is stored in registers. This makes creating cheats for this game extremely difficult. I've tried searching for only values that changed in any way, and eventually ran out of results every single time without fail, which means these values are not stored in memory whatsoever.

does anyone know how to lower the update of 1.3 to 1.2 without having the update for DQM the dark prince or is it not possible, i can get hold of the update 1.2 but its in a different language is there anyway to change the language if you cant lower the update?

because ive found out that for the time being there is only cheats for version 1.2 but it being in a foreign language is a bit of a pain :(

Yeah, neither Spike Mario nor Goomba Mario are in that file.
I know the power up modifier works great but the Spike Ball and Goomba Mario needs adding, wish I knew how to do it myself lol I've seen the YouTube videos so I know it's possible but the streamer doesn't include any links for the Spike Ball mod
