Earlier I encounter a game where pointers are valid only for a specific save. This may be one of those.
Mine is brute forced(pattern search and match), so it also may not work for you.
Update to Breeze77 and use the button in download to fetch this one

One of my favourites for sure...

3/6 was what made me fall in love with the genre... still play it on my SNES every now and then.. lol

This game is at the moment hard to make code. Try manual editing

The game uses the same code to access almost everything.
Making the game display those value let you find the memory address of the values.
Then it is just a bit of hack and see what happens.
Finding the level and talent points is very easy.

The sequence is "Edit Cheat", place the cursor on the code, "Jump to ASM", "Watch instruction", "Gen2 Attach", "Execute Watch"
The game normally would read the values when you go into the screen that requires the value to be displayed.

The code don't work but you can manual cheat it easy. Watch the read value code. Check the value of your max hp. Hack it and see if you found the correct value. Make it big.

See what I mean? The big number 573 is the hacked HP. The max HP is on top and the mana is below

If you watch the write code, the first line of the hp code, the list is even shorter but you need to get hit.
If you start the watch then immediately get hit the list is like 2-3 and you can very easily identify the HP just by the ball park of it
Due to hack the value is big other wise the HP is around 50.

ive installed DLC 4 with no issues with DBI, do not use Tinfoil, Awoo or Goldleaf, doesnt work properly anymore, DBI and the magic works
also im looking for cheats for 2.0.0
