Good news, this game is easy to hack.
Bad news, no pointer. So you have to DIY. It's double which is super nice as far as search is concern. Even if you just go from 1 to zero you can find it.
Good news, you get to keep what you hacked. So just make it a big number and you are done.
Going to delete the game already. Have fun.

Several mini games have appeared recently, developed by GameMaker Studio (YoYoGames)
Most of their variables adopt the Key List <DOUBLE> type,

If you use Pointer to modify it, even if you achieve the same pointer every time, but go to another machine, or you replay it with another SAVE FILE, the Pointer will be wrong.
If it is processed with Asm, it will take a lot of time to discover the Keyname of each variable, and then compare the Keyname in the appropriate position to modify it.
At present, these GameMaker works use SDK 12.0, so SXOS can't play it, and I will not touch these mini games in the short term.

Fortunately, these mini games can only be played based on the atmosphere, so you can work on CHEAT CODE, using TYPE 9, TYPE A, TYPE C0
First use POINTER to find the starting position of the variable block, and then make a loop comparison for every 0x10 or 0x20 size variable.

Never used cheats before, but Metroid motivated me. Only using the HP cheat and only against bosses, makes it much less annoying, thanks for that. The HP cheat has always worked well (the invincibility on the other hand didn't) , but not against the spear miniboss in the ice. Your HP don't drain when he hits you e.g. with a ray blast, but if he hits you with the spear, you still get killed. Luckily he was not that hard.

Unfortunately I must report that the next boss, Experiment No. Z-57, seems to be broken with the cheats. Tried all the HP and invincibility cheats on him. Often when you enter the boss room with a cheat pre-active, Samus will no longer be controllable / won't move. Only solution I saw was to close the entire game (reload savegame alone doens't work). Even when you can move (e.g. start cheat after boss fight starts), he has a few moves (e.g. the bite) which will still be able to kill you.

In Metroid Dread, is it possible to make a code that unlocks free teleport from any teleportal to any other? Having it only work after beating the game gets irritating when collecting powerups.
