Yay! Today I picked up my 360 and would like to buy a hard drive, does anyone know anywhere cheap as the prices here are horrid (AU$160!). I'd prefer in Australia, but overseas is fine if need be. Thanks in advance!

It would be ideal if you stated what size you are looking for. There is 20GB, which has/is getting a price drop and 120GB. The 60GB, which i'd recommend, is coming out early Auguest.

The 20gb only comes with an actual 13gb free space.

Delete some of that bullshit demos and videos that came preinstalled.

I'd prefer 20 gig, I'm sure the 60 gig won't be here for a while and the 120 gig's too expensive.

Like i said early Auguest. If somehow doesn't come to where you live you could always get one over seas.

Anyways,

20GB Hard Drive $40. Saving = $120!!

its used and you only save $50, not $120...

$160 - $40 = $120. Get back to school Joe88.

No, it doesn't have any videos installed.

1Gb of the 20 is reserved for the machine's OS, 2Gb is reserved for the Xbox Emulator to run smoothly and 4Gb is for game caching and other in-game software trickery - things like enhanced asset streaming and so forth.

So, it's kind of bullshit. Not only do you have to pay for an over-priced specialty hdd but they don't even give you atleast 18gb of the 20 like most real HDDs.
They should just make it 27gb and then say "20gb hdd". Such a rip off.
