Hardware Charger Starts then Stops

Hello,

So starting yesterday my nintendo switch charger has this strange behaviour:

1. plug it in the power source, starts charging;
2. Charges for 2 seconds;
3. Stops charging;

I've tried not only charging the switch but also 3 other phones and devices with usb-c type charging plug, no success.

Is it dead? Should I just buy another charger?

The switch power brick will not work with other devices.

Try charging your switch with a different usb c cable.

Works fine on my samsung note 10+, unsure what you're on about

Your right. For some reason it didn't work before...

So you confirmed your brick doesn't work? Does your console charge with other chargers?

If so... Yes, buy another charger.
