Hardware Change Japanese to English?

Hello,

I was tricked into buying Japanese Wii on eBay - those damn idiots - and wasted £250 on it. It came with 22 games - luckily all games are in English.

However, the menu are in Japanese. I can't understand a thing! I found an online guide where Japanese menu are translated into English.

But from what I read, channels on Wii will be in Japanese no matter what channels I go to. I haven't tried that yet as I read upgrading will brick my Wii.

I'm so confused about this and need some help here.

Is there ANY way in changing this into English? Hack? Etc? And no, I can't change Japanese to English using 'Change Language'.

You can't change language in Japanese console. It FIXED to Japanese only.

I was hoping there'd be any software or hack to change this.

Guess I'll have to sell it then.
