Hacking Change HEalth Screen and Wii System Menu theme

Hi guys.

I wanna know how to do it.

I was able to change only the healthscreen with wiishizzas tuturial, or changing only the Wii System menu theme with MyMenu & MyMenuify.

Here on gba temp I found a DarkWiiExtended41PAL-FINAL.v1.1-Smoky.Health.rar archive. By installing that .csm file you are able to change the healthscreen as well as the Wii System Memu theme.

Can anyone tell me how i can make a .csm File to change both ???

mymenuify can change everything, health screen included.

!!IMPORTANT!!
You need to have Pre-Loader or BootMii installed to Boot2.
This can and will brick a Wii.

I have a 4.0U Wii
Here's what I had to do.

Download NUS Downloader, Wad Unpacker and MyMenu.

1st. I used NUS Downloader to download System Menu 4.0 "in WAD format".

2nd. I used Wad Unpacker to unpack the Wad.
You can download the System Menu unpacked but I kept getting errors when using the files.

3rd. I took the 00000001.app and renamed it to 00000072.app.
00000072.app is only for System Menu 4.0U = witch is my System Menu.
"I'm told I didn't need to do this step." But it didn't hurt.

4th. I loaded up MyMenu.

5th. I loaded the 00000072.app or the 00000001.app as the source and the MK.MyM as the MyM file.

6th. I hit create and got a blank file that I named MK.CSM.

7th. I put the MK.CSM in a folder I names SCM Themes on the root of the SD Card and I put the MyMenuify in my apps folder.

8th. I loaded MyMenuify with HomeBrew Channel and selected my new theme and installed it.

It depends on the Theme if it changes to Health Screen and Wii Menu... Most CSM themes change both.

Just installing a theme is not the problem. I want to creat a csm file that changes both, healthscreen and Wii System Menu theme !!!

Lol, sorry I only read a little of your post....I'm so lazy.

Most CSM Themes change both he res a good place to get MYM themes.

I made it

Here's how:

- Rename the mym (in my case Darkwii.mym) to Darkwii.mym.rar

- Open the Darkwii.mym.rar

- look in the mym.ini for the health.ash file (in my darkwii.mym the health.ash is File 9)

Here's the mym.ini of tha darkwii.mym i used (to show u what i mean):

-Rename the health.ash to file9 and drag and drop it into the Darkwii.mym.rar

-Now rename Darkwii.mym.rar to Darkwii.mym and patch the .app with Mymenu.

- Install the .csm file Mymenuify

Edit: the health.ash has to be made like in wiishiiza's tuturial (follow the tuturial until you finished Step 13)

Hi you all seam to know what your doing with themes, so i wanna ask you all i have a darkwii theme for my 3.2e it works fine but i want a healthscreen to go with it cause it just has a normal one.... can anyone here help? this is what i want for my healthscreen - Download of png for my Theme i can send you or give you a link to my darkwii theme if anyone can do this? If this is possible? If not have you any links for me for a tut or a app i may need? Thanks

You do it the same way as in 3.2. The only difference is you take the theme for 4.0 and take the 0000008a.app (4.2 PAL).

BTW, an easier, but longer (that'll make sense in a minute =P) method of getting a theme AND a health screen is this:

Apply your .MYM theme to a base .APP and get a .CSM
Load that .CSM as your base .APP (you may need to rename it, not sure)
Apply the custom health screen .MYM to the .CSM to get a new .CSM
Now the new .CSM has the custom theme and custom health screen.

(It's longer because you have to run MyMenu/ThemeMii twice)

And BTW, you shouldn't rename a .MYM to .RAR, because its not a .RAR archive. Its a .ZIP. It works because your archiving program doesn't take file type by extension, but by file header. Therefore, you don't need to rename it at all to extract it.

I'll make it for you if you wan't, but ThemeMii Has a built in tutorial for editing the health screen. Btw if you want me to make it could you give me a link to the theme you are using
