Hacking CFW on Switch with no SD Card facility?

Long story short I took my Switch to be repaired and the outcome wasn't good (soldering not successful on motherboard).

Does this mean my days of CFW are gone?

Not yet.
ReiNX was talking about it at one time though.
My guess is that at some point we could inject/install a modified horizon version (CFW) into the sysnand (internal memory) at will.
