I've been trying to install CFW on my 3.55 demo ps3. i've heard of people stating that they have installed cfw on the same set up that i have. how ever i have tried to install every cfw available so far and can not from either the xmb or from maintenance mode. maintenance mode always tells me that my file is corrupt. xmb method won't find an update being as i'm already on 3.55. if anyone has any insight i'd love to hear it. thanks.

i hate to be the one that states the obvious but try updating by using another USB stick or something

- corrupt huh ? my only conclusion to that is something went wrong in the transfer process (your PC fault) or the USB itself - get them checked out maybe you can elimante the problem that way.

I've tried 3 different flash drives and and downloaded from several sources using both my desk top and lap top. I've tried all available versions of cfw. i keep getting the same error.
