Hacking cfw 1.0.0-0 3ds

OP, which 3ds games do you own? You can do a cart update with Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire if you own one of the those two physical. Then use it for Basehax

3ds.guide doesn't even have instructions for browserless 2.1.
It does however have instructions for browserless 4.x and 6.x, those might be the easiest/cheapest to find a cart with the right update for. You'll need a DS flashcart to install the mset exploit however, but that's nice to have anyway as there's no good way to play DS ROMs without one.

Cheapest would probably be gamecard with FW 9.0 to 11.2 plus Cubic Ninja, just like I wrote in my first reply. Most likely easier to obtain than flashcards.

look at http://www.3dsdb.com/ for a 2.1 game (ex. fifa 12) and cart update using one of those. If you start on 2.1, you effectively skip a giant chunk of the guide and move directly to installing a9lh

Not true in this case, you need a browser on 2.1 to install A9LH and a cart upgrade does not give you one.

1) Use a cart to update to 2.1 and start installing arm9loaderhax there
2) update to anything higher up to 11.2 and follow the guide there
3) buy Cubic Ninja and use the otp dump qr code there.
Choose one, but you should follow 3ds.guide

1) is completely wrong for reasons that have already been pointed out two times in this thread.
2) will work but not with Soundhax. A different homebrew-entrypoint will be needed
3) I have no idea about this. Haven't seen any mention of a otp dump code on 3ds.guide

Interesting indeed. But also more or less useless. If he has Cubic Ninja, he can simply stick to the current version of the guide by using Ninjhax2 instead of soundhax.

Cubic Ninja alone won't do any good though, since it won't update the 3DS to firmware >=9.0 (I think CN has something like 7.x or 8.x, anyways too low for Ninjhax2). You still need another game for FW>=9.0.

You can use Cubic Ninja to install a9lh on firmwares less than 3.0 without needing the browser.

If you go back to the lowest firmware and make a update to 11.2, or 11.3 i someone wants.
So is it a USA or EUR firmware?

We need the otp dumping payload, a decrypt9 payload and a SafeA9LHInstaller payload for soundhax. We just need an arm9 Exploit compiled for soundhax. With decrypt9 every firmware below 9.0 can be downgraded.
