Hacking cfw 1.0.0-0 3ds

Hey I just found an 1.0.0-0 3ds and is it possible to cfw it?

Yes.
Just visit 3ds.guide and closely follow the steps.
You'll have CFW in no time.

If you want Sys 1.0.0-0, you need either Cubic Ninja or Hardmod for doing an additional 1.0.0-0 NAND backup.

BTW, I have Sys 8.1.0-0J on N3DS.

Possible yes, but not without additional investments. You will need to find a gamecard that updates your 3DS to 9.0.0 - 11.2.0 and another gamecard that serves you as entrypoint to Homebrewlauncher. Soundhax won't work for devices which were upgraded by cart and you can't do an online upgrade, or else it will be game over with 11.3.0.

I remember Pokémon Sun updated my 3ds to 11.1 or 11.0 without the Internet Brower.
Couldn't you do that if you have the game and use Soundhax to get into homebrew to help with the cfw installation followed by 3ds.guide?
EDIT: or try the older Pokémon 3ds games like Alpha, Omega, XY?

look at http://www.3dsdb.com/ for a 2.1 game (ex. fifa 12) and cart update using one of those. If you start on 2.1, you effectively skip a giant chunk of the guide and move directly to installing a9lh

1.0.0-0 means he has no browser, so a cart-update to 2.1 won't help.

3DS didn't get a browser until 2.0.

You can get a copy of used Cubic Ninja for $20 at GameStop. Not sure about in Finland.

But doesn't a cart update mean that the update to play the game in on the cartridge itself? Because I'm pretty sure when Pokémon Sun was in one of my 3dses without the browser it updated to 11.0 or 11.1 just fine from 9.2...

I forgot they got rid of Ninjhax1. Not sure if it was supported on 1.0.

Yeah, I know that..
But if the OP has Pokémon Sunday and or Moon, you can just cart update to the 11.0 or 11.1 which ever one it was and use soundhax for the 3ds.guide tutorial....

Nope. He will then have 11.x.0-0 (x being 0 or 1) without browser, without 3DS sound. So no soundhax
Ninjhax is the way to go then (or OOThax or whatever).
