Hacking Cfg usb loader - difference updating between normal and non-meta?

I'm on version 69 and while it works fine, I figured I might update via the updater in the app. But it presents me with several options for updating and I'm not sure which to pick to ensure it "just works" with no alteration afterwards.

If I pick the full update does it affect the meta file? If not why is there an option to update without meta? Is that option best for me? Thanks for any advice.

non meta.xml update meand that it wont update the file of the description thta appears in the homebrew channel
