Gaming Case mod help

I just swapped my ds shell and it's working fine except for the touchscreen is unresponsive. I've replaced the screen and touch panel and swapped it back but nothing. It looks like it's in all the way.

Any ideas?

Are you sure the touch screen ribbon cable is connected probably , unharmed & the connector is fine ?

Try pushing in the touch panel's top-right corner (that's where the touch screen's connectors are) and touch the screen at the same time to see if it works. If it does, then that means the connectors there are broken, and you'll need a new touch panel. Otherwise, it might just be the P6 connector that is broken on your motherboard.

Touched that area and it worked

Is there any chance a bad seal between the screen and the digitiser could cause this. I've kinda done it really badly. Also I will attach pictures of it soon

By bodged I mean cutting up peices of the black rubber that came with the case and using it as I wreaked the original. So it doesn't cover all the sides (I am going to get some double sided tape to do it unless you can link me to a place selling the rubber with next day delivery.

Also I have two of the touch panel and if it's not the seal then I have ruined two

When it worked in the top right corner all I had was the screen and the touch panel attached not the border nor the clear screen which goes underneath that ( and my one is scratched badly, do I need to use it and can I buy a replacement)

Got sone double sided tape. Any ideas before I proceed
