Cartridge Reader Repair V1/V2

Hi, I have 2 cartridge readers not working, is there a tutorial to figure out what to check on the card? Then another question, is there a difference between V1 and V2 regarding the cartridge reader? I knew I didn't but from the pictures I don't think I'm sure anymore...

Just to confirm, it is not happening because of the nogc setting in Hekate?

no cartridge slot difference between v1 or v2, except different touch screen model mixed using in botj v1 and v2, where cartridge modules has FT9J chip with programed infk in it may lead to ghost touch/ non function touch when you switch to new cartridge module, you could fix thid issue via hekate touch screen calibration afterwards.
