I just got to play on my brothers xbox one, but no games are working, he has both Assassin's Creed gams : unity and blackflag installed, launching them tells me to insert the game disc, or check the store if i really own the game, on the store i can see the play button, brings the same issue, or i buy the game again

so i tried to get a new game, on the available for download section i have assassin's creed chronicles china, downloaded it, same issue comes again.
the issue started when he had problems with the game pads keeps disconnecting so he decided to reset the xbox, settings only or smth, he ended up with both games not launching and not fixing the game pads, games like : Metal gear V ground zeros, Call of Duty Ghosts gold, both are working using xbox one disc, another forza 3 i guess, for xbox 360 works directly without disc.

solution please

This has happened to me and friends many times. Hard reset the Xbox One by holding down the power button until it is fully off. Then boot the system again.

Did you do this?

Also all the saves and everything on a Xbox One is backed up to the cloud so you will never lose anything.

i ll try it later , and let you know,
but i dont think it ll work since we moved to a new house it spent hours unplugged.

@MrCokeacola
i got a new game, dvd/blueray, Rise of the Tomb Raider, it works perfectly.
until the xbox one starts turning off at some random points, it only does this with Tomb Raider, it works perfectly with Call of duty Ghosts , and metal gear ground zeros.

Sounds like the Xbox is just on it's way out if it's turning off randomly. If you really want to grasps at straws you could try manually doing a system update to be 100% sure it's not a software error but it sounds like a hardware error. You'll need to make an OSU1 usb stick and do this.

by the way, i am using a not so original power transformer, so, if the xbox was getting hot, and turns off, i must see a message first ?
and since the other games don't cause any issues ( COD & Metal Gear)
i guess my problem might be with the power transformer ?

the system software is fully updated, i checked for updates, the only chance i have now ,is factory reset then ?

You can still perform an offline update with the OSU1.zip if you are at the newest software revision. It will just overwrite it. The OSU1.zip will have to be the most recent as well though.

the xbox had an issue with game pads keeps disconnecting, today i followed a guide on how to open the xbox one for dust clean, i found out that the wifi antenna was unplugged !
i put it on, the pads are working perfectly now.

haven't been able to fix other problems , tried a restore, next thing is getting another power supply.

Did you try the OSU1 offline update? What will buying a new power brick fix?

yes i guess, cause this one as i mentioned is not official, in Tomb Raider it gets hot so much, that's why i think it might be a power problem, i got PES 2020 demo, it turns off too.
i dont have time, i ll try your OSU1 solution later and let you know, other then that.
if its not a dvd problem, it must be problem with the power.

Tryed the OSU1.zip file, got files for my kind of xbox one, i put the $SystemUpdate folder in the root of an NTFS formated usb disk, went into recovery menu, the option offline system update can be selected now, i click it, a progress bar is there, it starts loading, then i get this error:

System Error: E101 000000504 8B050041
