Gaming Can't launch DJ Max Fever games on Prometheus-4 5.50

I tried different modes of the UMD Iso mode but to no avail. I tried another dump of the game and both just boot back to the system menu. Anything special I have to do to get it to boot? Running Prometheus-4 5.50 on a PSP 1001.

I tried DJ Max Fever and DJ Max Fever 3 both wont work.

I seem to recall a similar thread here. It was about some kind of plugin that prevented the DJ max games from touching your files on the memory stick, which made them work.

yeah dj max has so crazy anti-piracy protections on it. Each individual game has to be patched for them to work. I just saw a patch for the dj hot tunes, but I can't url it because the site gives roms. Hint though, the url is 6 letters then .com, and 3 of them being psp.

yea, all max games need a new or patched eboot.

i really enjoy the dj max series. I just started playing a week ago?? probbaly one of my favorite psp games.

oh yeah one thing that use to annoy me is my inability to get like A+. In this game, i'm just trying to survive lol... Screw trying to get A+ right away. I just need the practice
