Hacking cant install though homebrew

can someone please help ive done a wii b4 using the twilight hack and got everything workin fine but ive tryed doing my new wii by following the mod any wii guide on here,
ive got the homebrew channle on my wii but cant install anything using it,everytime i try to install neogamma or wad mannger 1.4 the remote just turns off and goes to a black screen i restart the wii and the remote turns back on but only intill i try to install something again
any help would be good thanks for taking the time to read this

Have you followed the whole guide?

Was the system succsesfully trucha patched.

Did you delete the stub files 202, 222,223,249, and 250.

And then install the full CIOS in their place. (Hermes and Waninkoko IOS's)

Try and use DOP-Mii, and get a dump of the current IOS, that might help.
