(SX OS beta 2.8 FW 8.0.1)

I used this guide to install themes on my Switch with SX OS, but it just doesn't work. I did everything in that guide and dumped all the necessary things. However, on the step where it tells me to "extract home menu" it gives me a warning saying "the current firmware version is different than the one of the extracted home menu, do you want to dump the home menu again? If the extracted home menu doesn't match with the installed one themes will crash." It gives me the option "yes" or "no" If I say no, nothing happens, and if I say yes, my Switch crashes. Is there anyway I can solve this? Could it be just my Switch's firmware is incompatible with this method?

Not sure what's up. But I can confirm that I was able to re-install my pre-8.x theme just fine. I'm also on 8.0.1 and SX 2.8. I had the issue that many had where my theme broke when I made the jump from 7.0.1 to 8.0.1 and my Switch wouldn't boot. I deleted the theme though, booted into SX, and I hit yes when that prompt came up and was able to re-install the same theme as before.

The guide I used says you need to dump your fuse info, TSEC keys, and Switch keys. Do you know if I need to put those files in a specific location? I didn't change anything on my SD card when I dumped those things.

Guide doesn't say to move them anywhere so I don't think so. I did the initial setup a long time ago so my mind is foggy on the details. The only change I made when I re-installed my theme on 8.0.1 was get the latest version of NXThemes. So if you haven't done that, you can try it. But I'm guessing you're on the latest.
