ROM Hack Cant Install Themes using CHMM

im using 2ds and install arm9 but i cant install themes it says

im from 6 firmware i used this method https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/9.2.0-ctrtransfer
cos my original nandbackup doesnt work.

why cant i install theme on my 2ds it says

"error:[string"?"]:599:error opening file

Press A to restart

Press B to exit

Press Y to enable FTP server "

Same here. I am on 3DS latest firmware. Maybe the latest firmware breaks something? Not sure about that and hope the developer may response to this thread.

Edit: It works now once you entered the Nintendo 3DS theme setting once. It may be unnecessary to change theme once as the extdata should have been created already but in any event I did change the theme once.

Silly me I forgot this process.

Try this

• Set the theme to default
• Turn off 3DS
• Turn back on 3DS
• Select theme
• Go to CHMM and try to install a theme

If that doesnt work try this (This one worked for me)

• Set the theme to default
• Go to system settings and change the language of the system
• Restart 3DS
• Change language back to yours
• Launch CHMM and attempt a theme install
