So I'm on the jailbreak version 9.0.0. I've sucessfully installed several games, but for some reason the games that require an additional file won't install either by usb, ftp or remote package manager. The files do transfer, but after that it says nothing and when I go to my notifications to start the intallation it just says the update couldn't be found and I have to go to the psn store. I've got no idea why this is happening when the base pkg installs perfectly well, and yes, i use updates from the same source I got the original game. Anyone know why this could be happening? As far as I know it should install easily with the package content manager in goldhen, but as I said, the installation process happens but once it finishes it says nothing and isn't installed.

So I just tried again with Mass Effect: Legendary Edition and the same happened. This time I made sure both files were fpkg and had the same content and title ID, yet the same error happened. Any idea about why? Again, there is no error message in the package content manager when it finishes installing; yet, when I go to notification my original game has dissappeared and it says it can't download the update, with the error code CE-34704-8. It's driving me insane hahaha

from what ive read about CE-34704-8 its a payload issue, what payload are you using? and which host?

im using goldhen2.2 and host is karo.

You could also look through ftp at user/app/cusaxxxxx and user/patch/cusaxxxxx and see if the files are actually there

I'm also using karo but i was using goldhen 2.1.2, when I try to click on debug settings it says "thebinloadserver not running". Do you know how to fix this? Sorry if the question seems kinda basic, I'm a literal noob at ps4 hacking haha

you don't need the bin loader unless sending a payload from your phone or pc. bin loader is under goldhen at the top of settings. if it's not installing even via usb, maybe something is wrong with your database.

Should I restore my database or something? Would that affect my installed games?

it depends. are they on internal or external? if they're on external, do you have the app install location set to that? they'll all disappear, but external is easy to get them back. if they're on internal, you'll have to use a script. I think the 6.72 one works with 9.00. be warned though, you won't be able to delete games unless you open the database and change canremove to 1 instead of 0.

what I would suggest you do is to backup your databases from system_data/priv/mms (notifications.db isn't necessary), rebuild the database (can fix system errors as well), then inject the databases back in and restart the system. that might fix whatever is wrong.

Guys, so I seem to have solved the issue. I just clicked on debug settings before installing my games and made sure the bin loader was ticked on, so I installed a game with its patch and had no issue. No idea why it didn't work before that, though. As dumb as the problem may seem, I hope that if someone else has the same issue they can see a solution here. Thanks everyone!

hey do younhave any idea why emote package installer ps4 version 1.02 is not working on my jailbreak ps4 9.00 it says update required but how can I update jailbreak ps4

please invest the very small amount of money in a USB drive that's like 256GB, it will save you so much hassle over using the remote installer
